Answer: No, we do not have a retail store.  Our designs are displayed online and on our catalog.

Answer: If you would like to be a TeKay Designs retailer or wholesaler, visit our Wholesale page  and submit a wholesale application.  You will receive further instructions via email.

Answer:

• Yes – Please call toll-free (877) 293-2496 and provide the Product ID, color, size, quantity, billing and shipping information, credit card information, and required delivery date. For custom made clothing, please provide measurements.

• The order page will usually indicate the delivery turnaround for the product id. 
• For items in stock (ready-made clothing), the delivery turnaround is usually specified on the order page which is usually 7 to 10 days from order date unless otherwise specified.
• Our average turnaround time on custom orders made in the U.S.A. is 2 to 3 weeks from date of order confirmation unless specified otherwise on the website. 
  
• Imported (international) custom made products usually  incur a longer timeframe for delivery 6-8 weeks. Majority of our African and ethnic clothing and items with embroidery are made overseas unless ready made and in stock.
• Rush order and express mail are available for additional fees.

• We ship to addresses in the United States, U.S. military bases, and certain countries in North America, South America and Europe.  You can determine if we ship to your address by attempting to place an order.  On the Billing page (where you enter your billing and shipping address), the system will display an error message if we do not ship to the country specified.  Exceptions apply and you can contact us for clarification (as needed) preferably via email.

• If the item you would like to order is on our shopping cart, you may order online. Please include your personal measurements in the custom measurement form (if available) or in the Comments section of the Order form.  You can also send us an e-mail with the answers to the measurement questionnaire below after the order is placed. Your order will be processed after receipt of payment and measurements.

• There is usually no additional charge for custom made products unless specified on the order page.

• Rush order, express mail, custom color and plus sizes [ 1X (20), 2X (22), 3X (24) ] incur an additional charge.
• US Domestic - Rush Order Fee - Add $25.00
• US Domestic - Express Mail Fee - Add $25.00
• International - Rush Order & Express Mail Fee - Add $75.00
• If a plus size is displayed for a product on our website, we have embedded the plus size fee into the price of the product. The plus size fee usually ranges from $25.00 to $50.00.  Our plus sizes are: 1X (20), 2X (22), and 3X (24). 
• Tall sizes (over 6 feet) may incur an additional fee usually $25.00 depending on the complexity of the style.  We will review the measurements and notify you of any additional fees in advance or after the order is placed.

• No - Shipping and handling charges are non refundable.

Answer: We suggest that you place your order within 6 weeks of the date you would like to receive the dress.  For elaborate maternity wedding dresses with beaded lace, we advise that you place your order within 8 weeks of the requested delivery date.

Q17. I am pregnant and would like to order a maternity dress.  What measurements should I provide if placing an order months in advance?

Answer: We prefer that you provide your exact measurements and we will advise how many inches to add which is usually 1 to 2 inches to the actual bust and 5 inches to the actual belly measurements.   This will depend on when you are wearing the dress.  Exceptions apply for women who are growing faster, carrying twins or multiple babies, planning to wear the dress in third trimester or the last month of pregnancy.  We treat each customer's order with care and attention.  Measurements are reviewed prior to shipment for custom made products.  A representative will contact you if there are any questions about the measurements and/or the order.

• We feature African and ethnic clothing that are carefully hand made by our designers, embroiderers, and tailors in various countries world wide including the U.S., West Africa (Ghana, Cote D'Ivoire, Liberia), Mexico, Brazil and India. 
• Appealing to a global audience, we source rich and hand made fabrics, lace and beaded trim from South America, Asia and Africa. 
• The embroideries on our ethnic attire have been carefully handcrafted and delicately harnessed onto fine fabrics. Ours is functional, prestigious and regal, a testament to what we do for our esteemed customers.
  
• There may be slight variations in the fabric, design, and embroidery among items for sale.
